I can read "Nickel, Paris and France" I can't decipher the other word. Can you spell it out? I like the overall look of the piece. It appears to be hand hammered. Very country French looking. I would guess from the design it is from the early 20th century. Has some Arts and Crafts features. It would look good in my kitchen.

Looked up all my French resources and can't find anything on this.
Looks like Wanatupu pun, the mark looks like E5E?!

If you look up the "small French guarantee mark" boars head you will find a boars head for the dates of "1838 up to present".
But, this head is facing the opposite direction than the "official" pictures.
Still looking.
