Hi, I Need help to indetify this old oriental boar bronze.

the bronze take 8.3" (21 cm) long for 3.5" (9 cm) tall.

Maybe look fore Japanese bronzes .

Must be maker of item. Thinking it is Japanese...but the boar is much more popular in Chinese tradition.

The signature is similar to those you see on items which people refer to as " Tokyo School ", like referring to them as a group of artists.
However, i don't think this is Tokyo. I think i see Yama, but it's unclear.

A friend tell me this about the signature: Can' t get the 1st word, but the last 2 words are 山作

Yes. that first character there is what i referred to as " Yama ". It's also similar to " Kuzan " which you would also expect to see on these items so...

which is the complete meaning. Since I don't understand Japanese of the second part.
