Trying to find out style and period. I just picked it up tonight. Needs a little TLC but very pretty.

My opinion if its plaster on wood is Art nouveau period, teens to 20`s !! Frames and a few other things didn`t necessarily follow a style as we think of it !!

icedgold I too have a frame similar to yours...mart are you saying the frame is wood and plaster put over it?
what do you think value is for these frames--mine is in mint condition

I would research this a bit. Looks like you have a wood/gesso frame. Some of them can go for a pretty penny (meaning more than $50 - up to several hundred), especially the larger ones and uniquely shaped ones!
Frames from before the Art Nouveau period are worth more! You generally see them gilt but can find them painted over (not worth as much).
They don't follow a particular style. Wood patterned blocks were used to imprint designs.

Looks a bit repro to me but the image / photo has a yellow / orange tint to it

Print is similar to Thomas Kincaid, G. Harvey style !!

This frame if you see it in person is very old not repo. I have seen the repos and not pretty at all.
