First impression was a reminder of a death mask...but he looks pretty darn happy for a death mask!

Reminds me of some of the toby mug faces !!  Is anything on the back of this,,a makers name or anything ??

nothing on the back of it. Just looks like it was hammered out with a ball pin from the back and then the face was designed from the front side. Sorry not much help, just something that was found in an older home. Definitely looks handmade

That looks to me to be cast bronze.

It looks too thick to be hand made or that's just a shadow I see.

Here is the back of it. It's 1/8" thick.

That thick would be cast, not hammered !! Try to catch Ipcress and see if he knows that face !! It looks like one of the faces on English Toby mugs !!
