Would my zebra probably hold the same value as a toy rocking horse? Any ideas on age? Value?
-
Made in the same style as this vintage German rocking bear!

Saw your listing...and I think that's a good price to try for! Looking over pricing it doesn't show they garner as much as a "horse".
-
I was unsure about the listing price but I noticed too they don't seem to do as well as a traditional horse. They are great items though. Back when people took pride in craftsmanship.
-
It really doesn't look like a zebra. It looks like it shaped like a bear. I believe even a tiger. It's listed as a zebra?
-
KC posted the bear one as an example of style. My zebra is above that.
-
It has an equine head but tigers tail !! I think the person who made it may have had a few German beers too many !! Got his animals crossed !!
-
Nothing wrong with some schnapps... ;D

Another wee striped pony from Germany. :)

I love how they say no carousel.. lol

Icedgold10, I am believing that yours is big enough for a small child to sit on? Whereas the one Rauville posted is very small for a doll.
-
No. mine is 12" tall. A doll or a Chihuahua! ;D
