Title: Royal Vale Bone China 1930-1950 Help!
Post by: DizzyDrinker on March 26, 2014, 10:36:55 AM
Hello!

I would love some help with identifying and valuing a Royal Vale Tea set I have found.

The Identifier of the set is 7290 I believe but I have not found any references to the particular pattern anywhere online.

The set consists of:

6 Tea Cups
5 Saucers
6 Small plates
Milk Jug
Sugar Jug

I have attached images and any help would be appreciated.

Not sure where you are located, but in Western Canada, Royal Vale was not a high end product.  It was regularly on sale at Woodward's 1.49 day sale.  They quite often had no pattern name only, you may never come across it.  I sell the teacups for less than $10 each.   I find that teasets do not sell well at all.  Teacups are selling somewhat because of specialty weddings, but brides want all different cups, not sets.  GG
