Bought 2 paintings at Goodwill. Not on a frame. They were rolled and stuck in a corner. 2.99 and 1.99. This was unusually cheap. Although I have been finding deals like this lately at Goodwill. This was a little cheaper than normal.
The first one is 47 X 36 for the scene. The entire canvas is 59 X 48.
Now keep in mind I'm not good with this. But I'm sure it's oil.
Not signed.
Appears to be a lady walking by the river, on the opposite bank from the house located in the woods.
I thought maybe by starting with the type of trees and maybe identifying the river(?) and the type of clothing on the woman this might be a good start.
I'm researching this. But a little lost
Anybody have any ideas.
Thank you,

No signature or mark of any type.
In your opinion, if you don't mind? What do you think of the quality of work?

I think it is very nicely done . Not a master's level but talented.

I feel the same way about it.
Someone had talent.

As I said in the other post (#2) looks like someones attempt at surreal art !! Color palette is pretty much the same on both !! Since neither piece is signed,, I can only gather the artist didn`t like his own work !! Honestly I found that it missed any kind of meaning !! Its confusing and boring to me,,but I must admit,,surreal art is not my cup of tea !!

I agree, esp. on the painting with the barn. I was confused. Was the wolf being attacked by the sheep? didn't quite understand.
Thank you for your help, Mart.
Appreciate it.
