Title: Phil Prentice Tiger & Cheetah on Matte Board
Post by: debbie on April 07, 2014, 07:21:18 PM
I have two beautiful paintings by Phil Prentice in excellent condition.  Thanks for your input, i have added a picture of the edge as requested and also noted on the back that the hanger says Modern Reflection decor plaque Donald Art Industries, Port Chester, N.Y.. I also checked e-bay but it brings you to Worthpoint Auction with no price.

Can you take a close up of the edge of one to see if its painted on the board or a print that is mounted on it !!  Could be they were done that way for ease of framing !!  You can find these prints everywhere !! Or could be a litho done on heavier board !!

Second one is a leopard.

Seem to be several of these on Ebay / Etsy etc when searching Google.

These are indeed prints !! Found this one by another artist with a bit about the company, Donald Art Industries !! Modern Reflections is the name of the series most likely !! When I ran the series name and the company, a bunch of these prints came up all with the same labeling !! The ones you have may have been sold in sets !!  Saw others that were sets of two or three !!
