The print reads on the bottom "Max Pechstein variete 1909 essen museum folkwang kohlhammer kunstkalender". It seems to be an original but I can't find what the print is called or much else about it. What I have seen he seems to have been a well known painter and print maker. Does anyone know the name of it or value?

Its all written there. The title is "Variteté" and it is not an original, but from an art calendar " (Kunstkalender) of the Kohlhammer publishing house. The Original is in the museum Folkwang in Germany and was made in 1909 by Pechstein.

Thank you Mat. Do you know when they used to make these ?

The Kohlkammer-Kunstkalender started 1954. I am not sure for how long they continued it but I think that they made it at least until the 90s.
