Agassiz Pocket Watch
-
The serial number puts the movement in the late 1880s.
Looks to be in wonderful condition

I am interested in selling this gold Agassiz pocket watch, and would love some information as to its approximate age and value.
There are many numbers and letters here and there, so I guess I'll start with the watch itself, and move on.
The movement has "No. 20311" and "Agassiz".
The inside of the watch cover itself, is has the following groups of letters and numbers..."A5182," "N6085," "G619" and "26878".
The inside of the case cover has "Warranted 14k US Assay," "26878" and "135".
The watch is about 1 5/8" in diameter with the case and weighs 2.4 oz.
The watch appears to run, though I have no idea its accuracy in keeping time. It is in great shape.
I appreciate any and all feedback. :-)
Thanks for your time.
Sincerely,
"DLady"
PS. I do have additional photos. If anyone's interested in seeing more, feel free to shoot me an Email.

This may give you an idea of price range for some !! Of course yours could be different but these are nice watches usually made for high end retailers !!
