I know nothing about these so I am posting here hoping that the forum experts might shed some light on these. I believe they are antique Chinese carvings but that's all I know.

Hi, you are right, these are from southern China. Those carved wood panels were used as decorative elements in furniture and doors. They date from 19th to early 20th century.
