I have a bowl and pitcher set that has markings on the bottom of the pitcher it has a red star on top with red fern like leaves on each side with Prussia printed in red at the bottom. Is this old and of any value?

Hi Cindy.........RS Prussia (which is what I think you have, is the mark for Reinhold Schlegemilch, Surl, Germany. They produced quality china during the late 1880's. Their china commands high prices, unfortunately it has also been reproduced. You need to post pixs or better yet take it to someone who can tell you whether or not your piece is authentic. Even with a photo it iwould be hard to tell. Seems like anything that is of value has been reproduced at one time or another.
