Hi, Please help to identify this carved ivory. I think is chinese. And take some inscription and red mark.

Hmmm. I'm not sure that is ivory. Looks like " treated " resin. Maybe it's just the pictures - can you ask for an image of the base ?

The last pic is blurry !! Can`t see the grain clear enough to tell !!

How big is this item ?? What I could see looked more like bone than ivory !! How do you know its ivory ?? With all the new laws restricting its sale,, I would wish for something else !!

I know the restriction about the ivory. But this not bone. The item take 20 cm tall approx

The seal mark it is the name of the poet who wrote the lines written above. The poet's name is Su Shi 蘇軾.
the item take 28 cm tall including the base. without base 24 cm tall. And weight without the base 1,238 grams.
