Title: Pirkenhammer plates and bowl
Post by: AgnesC on September 17, 2014, 03:11:53 AM
I have purchased a Pirkenhammer set of 6 flat dinner plates and one bowl. It is marked Pirkenhammer and the logo is recognized from 1918-1930. ( it is just the hammers with Pirken on one side and hammer on the other side) The bowl has been given the number 12307 2. I have searched all over the internet to find the same print ( "polly"  in a rather grey design with little color here an there) but I cannot find it. The manufacturer ( from Czechoslovakia) has merged multiple times and is no longer existing under the same name. Not yet found the actual company today or a contacting point. I have searched the net for PIR12307 but this is not available either. Yet I am very much interested in when it was manufactured and what the name of the design is (or that it would just go by the number)
Additional info on the value would be appreciated.

Yes, I have and my design is not on there
Chris Marshall now told me that my design is from somewhere between 1928 - 1938 because of extra dots on each side.
That is wonderful to know already but my curiousity is growing if I can find no other image on the internet.
It must be a rather rare design.
