Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone here could tell what this item is. I have no idea and I would really like to find out some info on it.
Thanks,
Jeff

OK folks.. Here is a little better pics of it... It's 18" long and has some makers marks near the top which has a dogs head... I might add my wife thinks it's a husband beater... :o ;D

Curious mark with the crossed bones !! I have seen knives similar to this !! Turn the metal parts and pull and/or just pull apart ,,see if that's what it is !! Where did you get this thing ??
-

OK everyone - I think I have it figured out.... I think its a vintage riding crop handle less the leather braid...
-
Not a riding crop that I have ever seen before and I have had horses since I was 10 years old !! Way too heavy,, way too thick,, would not work !!
-

That's what I found yesterday when researching the mark !! The crossbones and or skull & crossbones was a mark for the Third Reich of Nazi Germany !! This was probably brought back as a souvenier after the war !!
