A few years ago I vaguely remember a middle-seam bear selling for around $50,000 at auction. This is another of my "star-attractions" - could it be as valuable?
Shoe-button eyes, 1905-1908, plush mohair, middle seam on forehead, big feet, approx. 40cm.

Boy, I don't know but just read the other bear thread and although i have no clue about toys in the antique world , i do know Steiff bears can fetch big money in that market.

I remember the button being smaller on this bear, but haven't measured it yet.

Great looking bear. My Mother was a T. Bear lover, and I've saved a few of her special old friends.
Value?
Let's see...
Radar's brought $14,000 earlier this year. :o

This site has a few values but it is a UK site !! I think the one that sold was sold there $40,000. in 2012 I think !! According to the collectors and other sites every 7th bear produced was a middle seam bear !! The higher selling prices are due to larger sizes and other criteria !!
