Title: Pitcher
Post by: konniem56 on October 02, 2014, 06:30:14 PM: I have found a very heavy glass pitcher but can't find any makers marks on it. Does anyone have a clue as to the maker or how old . I was told it was old .

Post by: mart on October 04, 2014, 08:18:29 AM: Thought that's what it looked like but wasn`t sure !! Shakey`s pizza parlor had them if I remember right !! Kept the beer cold since they were so heavy !! They kept them in the freezer till they filled them !! Hot summer,,cold beer !! ;D

I used to call them "Hotel Pitchers" as well. Every old hotel would use them in the rooms.

They do sell (low pricing) but are not as desirable as newer pitchers that are lighter to hold.
