Title: 1940's Fenton Blue Opalescent Ruffled Glass?
Post by: KevinM on October 16, 2014, 07:38:31 PM
I purchased these from the TS today and am trying to identify the maker of them. I think they are made by Fenton circa 1940 but I'm not sure.

The Bowl is about 10 inches in width and is blue opalescent with hobnails and ruffled glass. The plate is about 9 inches in width and is also blue opalescent. There are no make marks or stickers on the glass.

Does anyone know if these are made by Fenton or someone else and when they might have been made?

Thanks!
Kevin

Someone is selling a ruffled hobnail bowl like yours on Etsy and is describing it as you are exactly. Are they right? I really don't know, but the chances are good that they are.

Thanks frogpatch! It sure looks like it, I've seen a couple others like it listed as Fenton but I just wanted to be sure.
