Title: Reproduction chair. What era?
Post by: Clare100m on October 22, 2014, 03:45:56 AM
Hello guys :)

I am selling a chair as it's too big... I think its reproduction as the carving isn't very fine... It's been upholstered well and the cushions are feather filled.

What style do you think it is? I thought regency?

Is it worth about £50?

Thanks in advance

Clare :)

Can`t see the chair well but it is Regency period, English Empire style !!  Can`t tell if repro or not,, since this is from the first half of 20th century I would doubt a repro !! It may have been a little earlier in the UK !!  Its most likely just been reupholstered !!  50 or 60 would be in line !!  (I don`t have the pound symbol on my computer) !!
