Title: george jones & sons crescent china plates
Post by: sugarcube5419 on October 28, 2014, 01:51:27 PM: I know I have a weakness for cobalt blue & gold together but come on, this plate is just plain beautiful

I found three of the at goodwill for 1.99 each

On ebay someone is selling six plates that kind of the same-but mine are so much more ornate and pretty

Could be !! This tells about the company !! It was re-named Crescent Pottery in 1907 !!

Note that this individual has a "store" that they can offer this plate for this price. Keep an eye on it to see if it sells for this. In my opinion, that is still pretty steep. But, it only takes one person needing to replace one piece to pay that and it is a win-win for the seller and the buyer! :)

$25 - $30 (depending upon demand for the pattern) is a normal $ in our area for cobalt and gold gild.
