I found this at a yard sale by an old guy like me who was getting rid of a lot of things he collected over the years. I know you are tired of me saying this but it worked out to cost about three dollars. I know it is old yellow ware. I know that it is has lead in the glaze but apparently never killed anyone. I don't know its real age. I have a few pieces with the wide rim from and the stripes from the early 20th century but none like this. They say that you can tell the state the clay is from by the color. What is odd to me are the three little tripod marks that are inside of the bowl rather than on the bottom. No markings, 10 inches in diameter. Anything anyone can tell me would be appreciated.

Can we see the inside where the marks are ??
-
sure. I can't load more than one picture per post. Why won't they fix this?

Make the picrues smaller and sometimes you can fit two photos.

When I click on "more attachments" the link does not work. When I do load a picture it can take as long as five minutes to post. I make my living as a writer on the internet and load pictures every day without a problem. I have my own websites and cell phone Jpegs are never a problem. Only on this site. I just do not get it.

I assume you are talking about the marks that normally hold a piece of pottery above the firing floor ?? Usually three on the bottom ?? Have no clue why they would be inside the bowl. You might look above and see if you can find your bowl !!

Thanks Mart. I found most of the pieces there were in a different league. I looked through all of them. I was hoping someone here would be able to tell me where and when it was made. Living in NJ I always look for pieces made here.

Most that I saw were made in Ohio !!

Here's another one that shows those interior stilt marks.

That looks like the smaller size to the same set. Thanks
