Title: limoges
Post by: progas on June 19, 2005, 12:40:06 PM
Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows how you can determine the worth of a limoges bowl with lid.  I am not sure if it is a sugar bowl or candy dish.  It has gold painted handles and the top part is striped blue.  It also has a pink ribbon draping around above a pink, purple, red, and blue floral ensemble.  The bottom has limoges stamped in gold with a crown above and crossed swords below the crown.  It also has a green 43 in a circle stamped on the bottom.  Please help I have looked at many sites and cannot find anything that matches.

I'd like to see photos of the piece and the marks.

Thank you
