Title: 1965 Baekgaard and Butler "Sin Fiddle"
Post by: Anthonychachi on November 28, 2014, 11:38:59 PM: I have a 1965 baekgaard and butler "sin fiddle". I have tried to find out more information on google, but with no luck. From the card on the inside and the setup of the case, it appears to NOT be used for carrying a violin, but perhaps carrying bottles of liquor?

Does anyone have any clues to what this is and possibly a price on this item?

Baekgaard & Butler LTD was a gift distributing company in Glenview Ill. They made everything from branding irons for your steak to cocktail shakers to puzzles !! My opinion on the value of your sin fiddle case would be between $30. and $50. !!

Post by: mart on December 01, 2014, 06:03:07 PM: Yes indeed !! If sold to hold a fiddle, even a student size would likely be $75. to $100. The value I put on it was because it is bar related and that is a pretty hot category !! And because it something not everyone has !!
