Title: George Washington & The NY Historical Society prints
Post by: sugarcube5419 on December 21, 2014, 03:44:43 PM
http://www.pbs.org/wnet/whitehouse/timeline/1792.html

I have the first print on that link and I want to know if it is worth having this print? On the back in the description it tells me Carroll O'Rourke framed it and that it is very old. Does anyone know anything about this kind of art?

tonite on antique roadshow they had another historical society print by the same person as mine--theirs was in worse condition and worth 2-3 thousand dollars....

Now how do you find these people that want to buy these???  EBAY?

Although wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy yyyyyyyyyy out of my field of interest, there are dealers/auctions/galleries that specialize in old prints, posters & maps. I would go that route.

not identical but looks like it could have been the same day-I have no idea who the men are but they look like some are the same as the one last nite on roadshow.

good idea = I'll get ahold of the roadshow
