Title: Requesting help identifying some vases
Post by: kevb88 on December 28, 2014, 08:40:11 AM
Hi all I've signed up here to hopefully get some help identifying some vase that we found. My gran passed away a few years ago and our family just put the items we had into storage. We're having a clean out and have numerous items some of which we can't seem to identify.
 The vases im question are the ones attached. Could anyone tell me who they were made by?

Hello and welcome;

There has been effort put into researching the origin of that mark by others over the years, and as far as I know, no definite answers yet.
Check here: http://www.noritakecollectorsguild.info/researchers/johnhenley/index.html (http://www.noritakecollectorsguild.info/researchers/johnhenley/index.html)

Maybe someone else here will have better information on your nice vases.

Found same info you did Rauville !!  Evidently the company made a good quality china for export sales !!  But was out of business late 20`s !!  Are those chips I see on the base of this vase ??

Welcome.

To answer Mart's question.  Yes, from both pictures it appears it has numerous chips along the base.
