Its not a makers mark that I can find !! Most likely its a style number or import stamp !! Pretty one though !!
-
hi mart-
does that mean its just an "import" item
little to none for value?
Its actually very pretty

Style looks to be made in mid 1930-1950's. Even non-marked sets (cup/saucer) in excellent shape sell for $12 - $20.
-
thanks KC--its a very cute set-a keeper..doesn't have to a million bucks but gosh darn it I'd like that
-
There are many people that collect the demitasse cups & saucers !!
-
I believe I read that during the 1950's U.S. Customs allowed imported goods to be identified with "adhered paper tags", rather than permanent marks. Over the years many of those tags probably have been washed away or removed.
-
Is the cup marked the same way ??
-
no=in fact I found them at two opposite sides of goodwill store. Can't honestly say they are a pair but they are a match
-
They look like they should be together !!

Betting so as well!
