I bought a stained glass panel recently at a flea market. It is obviously from a church, and has the image of a chalice. It is approximately 28" X 28" I don't know much about it, and I was hoping I could find some information on it's value. I bought it in Grand Junction Colorado, there is some remnants of silicon like caulking around some of the edges. I'm including a photo. Any information, or if someone could point me in the direction of who might know, would be appreciated.

Hi Reddfrog,
The images and colors remind me of church art from the 60's and 70's.
What is your feeling on the piece?

This one appears to be made a bit differently from the older stained glass !! Although they both are referred to as stained glass,,on this one it looks like each panel was done separately then just put together with the lead strips !! Traditional stained glass each piece would be leaded in creating the picture/panel !! Since its for a church and is a small one I would say it may bring $175. to $200. !! Would sure cost more than that to have it made today but who could use it !! Not many people would have a place for a chalice in stained glass !!

This is a chalice in a quatrefoil which is the symbol for Communion. Agree it looks like a newer piece from your picture.

KC,,You are in a larger metro area !! Do you think it would bring more there ??
