Title: Antique Music Box
Post by: RHR on January 03, 2015, 05:53:29 PM
No markings as I can see but what told that it may be on a part somewhere inside the box. Plays Star Spangled Banner, Yankee Doodle, Home Sweet Home and Willie We Have...
I understand that this music box is in bad shape but was advised that it could be repaired/restored for  a good amount of $$$.
Any help is appreciated. I do have additional pics.
Outside of box is very plain. No carvings, pictures, etc...

I forgot to ask in the last post if this could be a Bremond music box?

Oh my goodness, I feel so silly. I never thought of even looking that up. I usually look up every writing I can see on a item just in case. LOL.
Yes, it is No. 6137

You can probably find this exact one by using that number !!  What happened to the box ??  Is that masking tape I see ??

I wish I knew what happened to it.  :( The owner didn't take very good care of it and thought that scotch tape was a good idea!
I tried a Google image search with that number and came up with similar styles but not the exact one.
I'll keep searching!
