Title: What are these for? Iron spikes with loop
Post by: rustyattic on January 24, 2015, 07:21:32 PM
Found a box of these in an old attic yesterday.  Not sure what they are.  My first thought was mine shaft hardware, that could be hammered into rock and hang lights or something.

The big piece is about 7in.

Have seen similar to the spike type at top used for rock climbing !! No idea about the other two but your theory sounds good to me !!  Are you in an area where mining was done ??
