Title: Kwan Yin/ Guan Yin statue?

Can anyone give me ANY information about this statue? I believe it is of Guan Yin. It looks to be made of resin or clay. No markings. It has a wood base. I have spent hours of time searching but the hits for oriental statue or Guan Yin statue are staggering. Thanks for any help! - Melanie

You are right, it is Guan Yin. To me the figure looks like it is made of resin, and it seems to be Chinese. It is certainly not very old.
