These are two small vases my Welsh Great Grandfather bought back from Wales when he went back to his village in the late 1920's. It would be nice if they were actually made in Wales. There are no markings on them. I kind of figured they are probably souvenirs with transfer prints made in Japan. Most tourist souvenirs here on Cape Cod, USA were made in Japan but I don't know about the UK. Any Welshmen or UK members have an opinion ?

I would assume they were made there !! Usually they would at least have the country of origin on bottom if not !! Yes there were many Japanese imports but they usually have the name on the bottom !! Usually just "Japan" !! The deco style says date is correct !! Late 20`s deco style was just starting !!
