Title: Looking for information on Confucius statue

I have this Confucius statue and I know nothing about it or the value of it either. On the bottom of the statue there is nothing there, it's just painted black. The only thing I know about it that is over 60 years old. Any help is appreciated.

I can't right now, it's over at my mothers house and I am not there. But when I go there, which will be real soon, I will take a picture of the bottom. And thank you for the warm welcome :)

That's fine !!  Just whenever you can !! Need to know what it is made of !! Looks like antiqued brass !!  Most likley its from the 1970`s But will know more with more pics !!
