Title: Looking for help identifying old portable record player
Post by: Orville Wright on March 11, 2015, 10:59:00 AM
Good afternoon.  I've been attempting to find additional information on an old record player.  Such as date of manufacture, value, ect.
The following is information from the player:

Philco - Ford - Solid State

When ordering parts use
Code No. 51.37502 & Model No. P650TBU
105-120 volts, 60 cycle AC only, 20 watts

I did multiple advanced searches and came up with nothing among hundreds of different models. It looks to me like early to mid sixties and inexpensive. Very bare bones with a molded plastic case. Made for kids to take to their friends house and built to take rough treatment. No record changer for stacking. Value? I would guess around 25.00 where I live.
