Not sure on the age of this. Grandmother worked for a wholesale tobacco and candy distributor. Mom and grandmother went to Cuba in the late forties.
It has lots of writing: Top and inside - Ramon & Hanes. Or Ramon & Allanes Habana. It is hard to read the script.
Front: 50 Preciosos. Cabinets. Sides: Envase Natural. Selection de Cabinet
The Back says: Cabinet Miniatura

I just found the company. It is Ramon & Allones started in 1845 and still producing today. A box of 50 cigars today is $365.
The company was supposedly the first to use cigar bands and colorful graphics on boxes. I don't see this type of box closure on anything listed as vintage or modern.

The only one similar is for a 100 count with what appears to be the same closure - but only one locking device. Sold for £68.00 ($94) in 2014

Current one for sale but more modern

Recent sales show a weaker market.

Thanks KC,
I saw the British one was not sure about the U.S. Price. That new ebay listing just ended. They got $142.50 for the cigar box. Here is another Karma for you.
