My friend gave me a bunch of her mom's jewelry to sell. She told me it was nothing. I might disagree. What are your thoughts. I cleaned a little of the brooch with silver cleaner. I don't even think she realized it was silver. The clasp is an old one. Are they fresh water pearls? The mark from what I see is ∆Π. The last mark maybe inverted the other way. Can't see more. I will look again. What are your thoughts?

I can't see the marks with these pics...but from the looks of the piece I tend to believed it is silvered and those do look like freshwater pearls.
