Title: Porcelain Dish
Post by: Tuco on April 19, 2015, 06:37:12 PM
My wife purchased this porcelain dish at a flea market today.  I'm wondering if any members can give me some information about it.  It is about 12" x 6" and is marked as a collection/series on the back with the numbers "24 of 150."
Thank you,
Tuco

Is that what is written on the paper ?? Can you take a close up of it if so !!  The mark on the back is supposed to be Meissen crossed swords mark but there are so many fakes and repros that would need to check on that !!

I can not see any marks on the back other than the blue crossed swords !! Where does it say it is a collection !!  Numbers on the back of porcelain usually refer to the pattern and style or color !!  If this is Meissen,, its fairly new !!

Hi
I am no expert on Meissen but I don't believe original Meissen pieces would have 24/150 on it as that sounds more like ltd edition replica
however only my opinion
cheers
