I have one, and after doing extensive google diving, I have only come up with the date they were released. I can't even find a picture of one on google images, just curious if anyone knows anything about them? The one I have is 25+ years old, but I don't have any clue when it was manufactured.

These originally appeared in the 1960's, but I cant see a good enough image on my laptop. If you can get the patent number you should easily be able to pin it down. Those original machines were amazing.

Thanks for the quick reply! Unfortunately it looks like Ultronics Systems Corp didn't actually patent the device, they only held a trademark on "Lectrascan" but only filed patents on 4 items, two data storage and processing apparatus (patent#'s 3949377 and 3936808) one for an automatic alternator for a priority circuit (patent# 4121285) and one for a swivel base assembly (patent# 3936026).

Does it work ??

I'm not entirely sure. The electronics should work but now that everything is digital and it is an analog ticker, it wouldn't be able to "tick".
