Is anybody else having trouble viewing photos?
Everything I opened from the 26th on had images missing with this message:
404 - Attachment Not Found
I don't know a lot about how the forum is stored but can space be freed up by
deleting post from back in 2003...2004 ,,2005. etc..?

Some of the pics posted lately were so large that they did not load for me but then I am on an ancient computer and dial up !! I am used to it !! Haven`t heard of anyone lately having problems !!

I haven't had any problems either. Will keep an eye on it. Can you please be more specific?

To answer 2nd question first, …. “yes”, anytime something is deleted it frees up storage space.
I don’t know what the 404 err is but it could be 1 of 2 things.
If it was an uploaded photo to the AQ server then there could be an address link problem between the posted message and the stored image ….. or the image has been deleted.
If the photo was uploaded to Photobucket, etc. …. or the photo was found on the web ….. and the poster copied the “.jpg” link address and “pasted” it his/her message …. then the AQ server would auto-upload said image via said “.jpg” link and xmit it to the viewer’s PC when they “clicked” on the topic.
But now iffen that photo was deleted off of the Photobucket, etc. site … then the AQ server would get an err when it tried to access it ….. and would then denote said err on the viewer’s PC.
So remember, if you upload photos to Photobucket, Flicker, etc. for displaying on AQF …… don’t be deleting either the photos or your “account” if you want them to still be “viewed” on AQF.
And the part about "from the 26th on" has me confused.
