I have this bible that I'm trying to get information about. I don't know what it says on the outside wood cover. Inside there is handwriting by my relative that says "Bought in Jerusalem January 1875". It measures about 8" x 5.5" x 2". Any information and value is much appreciated! Thanks!

The British and Foreign Bible Society is now simply called the Bible Society and they still operate in the UK. I'm sure they'll be able to tell you about your Bible!

Thank you so much for the information!

You're welcome! The American Bible Society was able to help me with an old family Bible they had published in the 1850s. Let us know what you find out!

The wood boards ( the cover ) are exceptional. Without that special binding and provinance it probably wouldn't be worth all that much, but I would say it's about a $200-$300 Bible IMO.
