I picked up this very simple rocking horse from an estate sale. I was hoping that someone could give me some more information about it. There is no makers mark. It has glass marble eyes. It's made out of heavy solid wood. We live in Maine and have a lot of Shaker items around due to the Shaker Village. Any information about age, maker, or value would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Are those phillips head screws that attach the legs to the body ?? Its a cute one for a toddler !!

Yep they are Mart...I could enlarge it.
This doesn't look like an antique piece but one made in mid/later 1900's and has helped entertain younguns from the looks of the tops of the rockers. That is a good thing because that is what it was made for! :)

I thought they were Phillips head but my pics are not as clear as yours (or my glasses need cleaning) !! I agree !! Still a nice one for a toddler !!
