Hi everyone,
I am researching a lot of my artwork. And this one has always puzzled me on the signature. It is a penciled signed print, and is numbered. Measuring approximately 22" X 18". The signature is illegible to me. I've research many combinations and am totally frustrated. Please take a look and give me your take on this signature. Photos attached. Thanks in advance

I'd email those to a few French or Canadian galleries. The artist is obviously inspired by Monet and though i can't read it perfectly, my initial feeling is that it's J V****y
Quite nice, actually. What quantity is the edition ?

Great suggestion Ipcress. I like you thought it might be J V****y. The quantity is in roman numeral XCVII/C, 97/100. Thanks for reply.

Roman numerals !
I'll have a check through a database later.

GREAT!! I am excited! Thank you Ipcress! I've bookmarked the following link for artist signatures which is a great resource, but I haven't had any luck with this one.
