I came across this at a garage sale the other day. I think it might be silver, but not sure. It's very light and fragile. The markings on the bottom are interesting, a serial number (?) and a tiny logo that I cannot make out. Wondering if there's any info on this one, maybe even a year, or sadly, as I'm very new, what its made of and how to clean it.
Thanks!!!

That looks like it was made for "heating" in a fireplace
Or maybe just for serving a lot of people ..... like at a dinner party or dance.

Hi and welcome!
Looks like you have a tipper pot. (Pot on Stand).
Can you please take a better picture of the center marks on the bottom?

Thanks for the welcome KC!
Here's a closer look. It looks like a Victorian style cross with "BROS" next to it, with "EPBM" in a crest.
Cheers.

Hi there and another welcome !! EPBM= Electro plated brittania metal !! So just silverplate but a very nice find !! Any good silver polish will do to clean it !! Brittania metal is a pewter alloy and called poor mans silver when plated !!

I believe that your maker is K Bros (Kemp Brothers of Bristol, England)

Thanks for the welcome Mart, and thanks for the information!.
I've already inconspicuously given it a rub, and it has a nice shine. Can't wait to clean it up!.
Thanks everyone for the time and effort responding, what a great forum!
Cheers!
