Title: Army Jeep - Child's Pedal Car

Hi,

Came across this little guy. No markings except for a quite modern warning label on the inside of door. The wheels are plastic and I'm fairly sure are after market. Have scoured every inch of it looking for a serial number, tag, or name. Nothing. Only thing I've come across that is similar is 60's era Tonka Jeeps.

Any help?

This one looks like 40`s or 50`s pedal car !!  Can not read the warning label !!   Neat find !!

Need a very important picture...the front of the car.  Grills help to determine the age/manufacturer. Can you please post a picture of that?  Thanks!

Front with sticker that I think is molo, a toy car company (added later maybe?)

Hi,

My brother, sister, and I were all children of the 50's.  Here in the USA ,  our wooden and metal toys were painted. Very very few things had decals on them.  Nothing had warning labels on them.  Decoration was often done in lead paint.  Unless Austrailian toys were very different I would say this is a later version or  the warning label was added much later.

Particularly the:  not suitable for children under 3 due To small parts

 Its the same body style as our toy jeeps we had in the 50`s !!

I really like the construction, I think the saying "they don't make them like they used to" is apt with this one.
For the age it is in really good condition too. Going to remove the rust from the steering wheel, shine it up. I'm in two minds to donate it to my nephew as I do not have children. ;)

Look at the body style of the first few here !!  They are through 1958 I think !!
