I know this item is not an antique. I have had this item for several months now and I don't know how to describe what it is very well. I have tried looking for another one through out the internet, but haven't been able to find one. I was hoping someone here might be able to help me, this site was the most resourceful place I could think of.

That is exactly what I would call it !! A decorative cloth banner,, most likely a souvenir from someones trip there !! Look along the top border,, sometimes there is an opening on each end to run a dowel rod through for hanging !!
-
Thank you! Souvenir is something I never even though of. There is an opening on both sides for a dowel rod!
-
When the name is written across tne front,, you can pretty much bet thats what it is !! Often the dowels are removed since it would be difficult to pack in a suitcase !! Fits nicely folded though !! Most people that travel choose souvenirs that will pack easily !! Or at least,, they used to,, your banner is probably from mid century when things like that were popular !!
-
Really? You think this banner could be that old?
-
Yes,, why not ?? Even souvenir items evolve and change with styles and the times !! You would not likely find these today !! The tourist places on the bottom have probably changed or some may even be inaccessable today !!
-
Dang. I have it on ebay for $0.99 and free shipping! Hopefully I get some more bids haha.
-
Searched em all up and they all still seem to be tourist places today too! Good thinkin' though, Mart. This is all stuff my petty brain would never think of ;D
-
Post the link to your sale and let me look at it !!
