Bought these today at a thrift store.
Wasn't sure, if old or new, but had a good feeling.
Found a couple online with same image. Although all seem to be hand painted and all are slightly different.
They were dated to 1870's - 1880's.
11 inches tall with lid
about 9 inches across
30 inches around
no markings
These have same pattern, but are slightly different due to being hand painted.
crazing
wear around lid and bottom. Thinking maybe that shows age.
Paid $53 for both.
Any ideas if these are old?
Thank you for your help.

Have you Googled 'taback jars', ..... there is lots of info on them.

yes and I read on them.
Just wasn't 100% confident as to the age of the ones I bought.
Just wanted to make sure mine wasn't a modern reproduction.
Thank you,
