Title: Louis Hanson Company Barber Chair Parts
Post by: Traveller on July 15, 2015, 10:06:31 AM
I recently purchased a Louis Hanson cast iron / porcelain barber chair. The chair is in fair condition and I am considering restoring and reselling. The only part that is damaged is the porcelain webbing between the seat and foot rest. Also, I can not find a model number. Any suggestions?

One thing you might consider , if the gridwork/webbing area you mentioned is actually baked enamel over cast iron , would be to have that component of your chair powder-coated to match other components that are baked enamel/glazed .... this sometimes is tough to exactly match aged finishes , though .

Sounds like a fun project , Traveller !
