Hi,
I have several green Chinese Famille plates all decorated with the usual birds, flowers and butterflies, I do have one which I can't seem to find anywhere on the internet.
It's decorated with human figures (Chinese) both male and female, the plate in question also has decoration on the rear of the plate, unlike any others I've seen, it looks a little like red grass clumps. The plate also has a decorative Ormalu "frame" with feet.
Have you seen one? Is it rare? ??? ??? ???
I don't have a picture at the moment but I'll get one up when I can.
Thanks for reading.

Sounds unusual !! Will have to see it !!

There was a time when the use of Imperial marks was strictly prohibited and a single " character " was used. Leaves, an incense burner are two of those. However, they're usually in blue although you can find them in red. They were copied later so we'll have to see an image.
