I have a dressing table with attached mirror that came from this co. It has a piece of paper with this info on back that is hard to read. I was told it is amish made. The linn hert co. Was composed of a furniture store, funeral home and ambulance service. This is all I could find out.

At the end of 2013, one of my co-workers suggested that the answer to a question about local history was tied to funeral homes and furniture stores. This book confirms that "theory". The Linn Hert Geib Funeral Home is still in business after over 150 years. James Linn (of the funeral home) also owned a furniture store. Most undertakers at the turn of the century built their own caskets and were excellent woodworkers. Therefore, having a small furniture store alongside the funeral business helped to provide income between funerals.
