:(   Regarding my post from July 14th 2004 (Pewter, Tin, etc.,) no one has any input at all - no direction to send me in?

Since I originally posted, I had gone to the only shop I could find in my area, but  the woman told me it would be $75 dollars just for the appraiser to look at.  It may not be worth it, and I can't affford to take a risk right now.

Also since my original post, I found a picture somewhere on-line of an antique aluminum plate.  It looked very similiar.   Does anyone know a way to figure out if something is aluminum?

I need help with this FAST.   Again, any opinions or guidance would be most appreciated.

that company, was known for hand hammered aluminum.$35.00 DOLLARS.
