Title: Onondaga novelty company - chair/step stool 1893

This step/chair stool says patented Sept 26,1893 in Syracuse. NY.
Onondaga Novelty Company. Looks like a chair but folds to a step ladder.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. :)
